Marley's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Marley's Story...
This is Marley. He is a very young (maybe 1 year) mix. We are not sure about his breed, but he sure is a cutie! Marley was rescued from a high kill shelter and is nervous around new people. He needs some time to warm up and would do best with a family that is committed to working on socializing/training him. Marley gets along with other dogs, and we are unsure about cats. Marley loves to give kisses and will follow you around the house. Marley needs a home with a fenced yard. No small children, older respectful children only.

**If interested please fill out an application on our website www.mendingheartsrescue.org and we can set up a time to meet them, as we are a foster based rescue**

**adoptions fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm check for dogs, FeLV test for cats, and flea/heartworm prevention**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a Rockford Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Rockford, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Rockford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockford paves the way for another one to be saved.
