Founded in 1900 by M. Jennie Kendall, the NH Humane Society was formerly known as the Women’s Humane Society. Originally located in Nashua, NH, the organization worked tirelessly for the welfare of women, children and animals.
Mission and Purpose: - Finding responsible and caring forever homes. - Provide shelter for lost, abandoned and unwanted animals. - Advocate for animals . . . speaking for those that cannot speak for themselves. - Implement educational programs and provide services to promote responsible pet ownership and the bond between animals and humans. - Prevent cruelty to animals.

We are open to the public: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10-5. Saturday 10-4. We are closed on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday
