Milo's Story...
What a cute boy he is and full of energy!  Milo is a Rat Terrier mix, just two years old and weighing a bit over 13 pounds.  He loves his playtime with other dogs regardless of age or size and he is even okay with cats.  Milo is very sweet with his humans and loves some lap time after his exercise.  Milo was rescued by our sister organization in Mexico where he was neutered, dewormed and vaccinated.  He has now made his way into foster care in Edmonton, AB where he awaits his forever home.  If a lively little guy sounds like the perfect addition to your family, contact us at adopt.pvca@gmail.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Edmonton Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
