Your very OWN Ray of PURE Sunshine = A+++

Hi there, my name's Rosetta but my rescue friends dubbed me “Rosie” to reflect my “sunshine and roses personality!” I’m a 2 1/2 year old spayed female American Staffordshire Terrier who’s SUPER easy to train, AFFECTIONATE, very GENTLE and impeccably WELL BEHAVED indoors ~ FUN in motion outdoors AND a TOTAL house dog! Need a Nanny ??? Well then, I'm YOUR girl and would be delighted to be at YOUR service ! I’m absolutely LOVELY with children because I pawsitively ADORE those miniature humans ~ they make life soooooo WONDERFUL ! I'm a true couch potato indoors but I'm ALWAYS up for a good romp with canine friends or a long hike with my human(s), what ever YOU want to do that let's us spend quality family time together! I enjoy ALL my friends at our multi dog indoor foster home and am SUPER NICE to everyone I meet, it always pays to be a gracious and FRIENDLY Lady. I have a stable, CALM, even temperament, and I'm INTELLIGENT, EASY to train, AFFECTIONATE, loads of FUN and very well behaved indoors knowing that’s the place to be kicked back. I’m a very SWEET girl who’s super socialized, housebroken, crate trained and I even sit nicely for treats (immediately AND without being asked, thank you very much:). I’m also the PERFECT car companion who loads up instantly then sits quietly to enjoy the ride or enjoy a well deserved nap! Always HAPPY, smiling and FULL of life, my foster Mom (Mare herself) says I’m a SWEETIE and she’s sure that you’ll think so too!

Why wait??? Contact us via our website or simply call Mare at (505)316-2089 for a private 'By Appointment Only' showing at our weekly 'Adoptions in the Park' !!!  PLEASE include YOUR phone number on all inquiries as we are rarely around the computer these days :)

OR come meet the PACK at our NEW Albuquerque adoption venue on Saturday, Aug 5th, from 12 noon to 3pm at the opening of the Boxing Bear parking lot - directly across Alameda from Satellite Coffee (10200 Corrales Rd NE Albuquerque, NM) - on the NW corner of Alameda and Corrales Rd. We hope to see YOU there !!!

About Pet-a-Bulls, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Pet-a-Bulls, Inc. is New Mexico’s all volunteer based “Bully” breed ADOPTION group. We carefully select dogs from City and County shelters across the State, ensure that all medical needs and vaccinations are in place and that each and every one of our fur~friends have the basic behavior training to automatically exhibit the skills required to be deemed “Ready-Made” family pets!

Pet-A-Bulls, Inc. was formed exclusively to address the overwhelming overpopulation and homeless pet problems in the state of New Mexico. While our primary focus is placed on American Bullys, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bulldogs, Old English Bulldogs, American Pit Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, all the various Mastiffs and other “Bully” type breeds, virtually all canine breeds are always considered as space permits. Keep an eye on our “Adoptable Dogs” page as you never know what you’ll find ~ we’ve had everything from a Dogo Argentino to a Bouvier des Flandres, to Dachshunds, Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Border Collies and Labs to absolutely adorable “pure D genuine, certified, New Mexico specials” (undetermined mixed breeds with lovely personalities).

Pet-A-Bulls places our full focus on carefully selecting our dogs from high kill shelters in New Mexico, after they have been properly screened and evaluated, in a full on effort to prevent unnecessary euthanasia. All intakes are carefully evaluated and then placed into in-home foster with people appropriately matched for their care. We are NOT able to accept dogs directly from the public under our current structure.

Pet-A-Bulls is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt corporation and ALL donations are tax deductible.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our dogs adopt out quickly so don't take a chance on missing the love of YOUR life! We have a strong commitment "to servicing our kiddos and their potential new families" ~ PLEASE call 505-316-2089 to schedule YOUR appointment today!

Please be sure to include YOUR phone number in ALL email inquiries to ensure a quick response :)

Our Adoption Process...

We have an adoption application that all adopters are asked to complete. Our adoption fees vary slightly depending on the medical expense we have in the dog, but generally run $150 to $200 with a select few ranging as high as $300 to cover additional medical costs. Please email or call us about any dogs you are interested in ~ we would be delighted to discuss the process and the dog you are interested in and whether its a good fit for your lifestyle and family. All dogs are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on shots and heart worm tested if over 6 months old. We also provide free training classes to help your adopted pet be the best pet ever. Bully breeds often have very few options once they are at a shelter and have one of the highest euthanasia rates of all breeds so please consider opening your home as an adopter or foster to this wonderful, often misunderstood breed!
