My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Evie (E-vee), a 2.5 year old spayed female microchipped cattle dog mix. Evie is a sweet and gentle girl with soulful eyes who is friendly and outgoing! Evie gets along with other dogs and has had minimal exposure to children, cats, or other types of pets. She walks nicely on a leash and would be a fun walking/hiking/jogging partner – once she loses several pounds (her ideal weight should be about 60 pounds). Accordingly, she is looking to be a partner with an active person or member of an active family. Evie is eager to please and would benefit from a basic obedience class. A daily brushing of her coat and teeth would keep her looking as beautiful on the outside as she is in the inside.

Evie is looking for a new home because the Grandson moved out and Grandma is not in a situation where she can give Evie the daily attention, training and exercise she needs. Evie’s vaccinations are current (including rabies). She needs a Leptospirosis booster shot around August 12, 2017 and her recent thyroid test is negative. An adopter who has experience with the active and intelligent cattle dog breed is preferred.
