United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.

A5069695 Otis | Labrador Retriever/Shepherd
A5069695 Otis is a friendly 6-year-old tricolor (tan, white, black) male Labrador Retriever and Shepherd mix whose owners surrendered him to the Baldwin Park Animal Care without providing a reason on May 18th. Weighing 61 lbs, Otis is an enthusiastic love bug. He is supper friendly and, like Labs everywhere, wags his tail non-stop. Otis will rub his head all over you if you let him. This is a boy that loves to be petted and give back as much affection as he gets. Otis pulls a bit on leash, but he loves to walk and run, so with some training he’s going to be the perfect walking and hiking companion. He appears to be already housebroken. Otis is enthusiastic when he meets other dogs, so a proper introduction is warranted to ensure the other dog(s) aren’t intimidated by his excitement. With such a friendly disposition, Otis is the perfect indoor pet and companion for any loving home whose people will walk him and give him lots of attention.
