DOB July 2015
Sam aka Hairy Sam is a 2 year old exotic short hair. He definitely has some Persian in him. He has the pushed in nose and medium length fluff! Sam is best suited for a home with mature people and is not appropriate for children as he does nip. He will sit on your lap at night but he does not like to be petted while there. He likes to sniff hands first and then accepts only 1-2 pats. He will need regular nail trimming at the groomer’s or vet office as he is not content to let his foster Mom do it. Be prepared for lots of shedding. He is hit or miss for brushing. Therefore he is good with dogs, untested with other cats. If you are looking for a mellow guy with lots of moxie then he is the cat for you!
He likes to play with the ball on a stick and chase balls and toy mice that are thrown to him. He is a counter jumper and loves to knock stuff off the table.
Special note from my foster family::
He loves to be in on whatever is going on and would love to sleep in the bed with you although he tolerates the living room couch at his foster home as his step sibling the Chihuahua does not share her Mommy’s bed with foster cats!
