Sweet, gentle Brownie is a new addition to the TLR family. She was saved from a kill shelter on her last day in Georgia. You might ask, what's wrong with her that she was in a kill shelter? Well your guess is as good as ours because this girl defines perfection! Brownie is 3 years old.  If you're looking for a dog friendly, kid friendly or cat friendly Husky - this is your girl!  Brownie hasn't met a soul she doesn't like. She would do best in a home with other laid back dogs because she herself is a calm natured girl who walks great on a leash. She can be vocal at times, like most Huskies, so no apartments please. She's also a master at escaping her crate so we're looking for a home where she won't be left for long periods of time. She loves companionship and her favorite hobby is giving kisses. She's super sweet with her human foster siblings and soaks up all the love they have to offer. Brownie is crate trained and house trained. She is available for adoption mid-late September after she's undergone her Heartworm treatment.

She's being fostered in Georgia but can be transported to MD or NJ for adoption.  Anyone applying to adopt Brownie must be willing to travel to either MD or NJ, once the application becomes approved.

~~The Last Resort is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.thelastresortrescue.com/adoptionapplication.htm
