  • Breed: Feist/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) Mix
  • Color: White - With Tan, Yellow Or Fawn
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Maggie was brought to a high kill shelter by a neighbor when her owner was hospitalized. Through no fault of her own Maggie was on death row because her owner got sick. Illinois Animal Rescue came in to save her and she was brought to her foster home in Bloomingdale, Illinois.

Maggie gets along well with her new foster family, even the cats. She was loved by her original owner so she enjoys cuddling with you on the couch or in your bed. She is very obedient and listens to many commands. She walks well on a leash but loves to run and play in the backyard.

Maggie is a really great dog. Very loving and sweet. Please consider giving this girl a forever home.

About Illinois Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of individuals, groups, volunteers, workers, veterinarians, independent rescuers, humane investigators, transporters, a coalition of humane societies, shelters, humane organizations, shelters, not-for profit organizations, pounds, well... Just regular people, scattered throughout the state of Illinois and beyond. We strive for the rescue and humane care and treatment of the animals in our community, state and throughout our country. Together we are savings over 7,000 lives yearly.

Illinois Animal Rescue, Inc. is 501(c)(3), not for profit and no-kill.

Our goals are to ensure that every animal is treated with the respect that they deserve; to educate our communities on the importance of spaying or neutering their pets to solve the pet overpopulation problem; the humane treatment and care of all animals and the rescue and transportation of the many animals that are being put to death in our communities every day, due to no fault of their own.

We are so very appreciative of your support, and will continue to grow our network bigger and better. In the coming year, we will continue our goal to rescue every single animal in Illinois, gain exposure for the pounds in need and develop good relationships with only the best rescues that meet our criteria.
