(This is not a CHEW Dog Rescue dog. Please contact Holly for more information: firstname.lastname@example.org Phone: 253-732-4386) This is Winnie she is a Dachshund and we think her age is somewhere between 10-12 years old although we are unsure. She has been in our family for 8 years but her owners recently had a bad fall resulting in a TBI and is no longer able to care for Winnie. She is a great dog, everyone in the family who would take her has toddlers and Winnie being in her senior years it makes for a stressful situation for her so we decided the best thing for Winnie is to find her a good home preferably with an older couple that don't have small children. * They've had her for over 8 years. She's a senior dog. * Was a rescued puppy mill dog who had several litters of puppies and there for her birthday and age is unknown . * Loves SHORT walks and treats. * Loves to snuggle and be right where you are. * Great with kids but being a senior dog can only handle kids in small doses * Need to go to an older couple that can giver her lots of time and TLC. * She is almost deaf. * She had a full dental workup last year resulting in a few pulled teeth. She needs hard food watered down to make is softer and all treats need to be soft treats otherwise she is in great health. * She is Spayed * She is Up to date on all shots. * She Has developed bad habits of going potty inside the house but not her fault because of her owners medical conditions she has been either left home for long stretches or passed around the family for periods if time over the last 3 or 4 months and so she simply needs to be back in a stable routine and retrained. * Needs a peaceful loving home where she can live out her remaining years. * To ensure she is going to a good wanted home there is a re homing fee of $100 She is currently staying with my sister in Puyallup so If you or anyone you know might be interested please call or Email me! Thank you! email@example.com Phone: 253-732-4386)
People who are interested in adopting one of our dogs must fill out an adoption application which can be found on our website: http://www.chewdogrescue.org/Forms.html
We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. An adoption donation is also required at the time of adoption.
Humane America Animal Foundation, dba Adopt-a-Pet.com, is a non-profit, tax-deductible 501(c)(3) adoption advertising charity. Our mission (and passion) is to help
get homeless pets out of the shelters and into loving homes. Let us know what you think! Suggestion & Comment Box
