Redbone Hound's Story...
There were 5 redbone coon hounds put out at the Dump, all were females and about 10 weeks old. They are now 6 mos old and really need a loving home. This one is #3 and is the largest sized of the 3 left. She will be placed in a loving home with a secure fenced yard, she's great with children and cats don't appear to bother her. Her adoption fee is $125.00 with an additional $25.00 for microchipping. Please contact 4PetSake Rescue (rescue_4petsake@yahoo.com, or 864-353-2880) for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Redbone Hound, a Anderson Redbone Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound for sale in Anderson, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound dog from a breeder in Anderson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anderson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anderson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anderson paves the way for another one to be saved.
