Meet Ripken. Ripken is a bit on the shy side but is super sweet. I love her coat as she is a Calico but also has spots like a leopard. She loves to be pet and to be held and that is when you start to her purr. She is very loving she just needs a little time to get to know you then you are all hers. She loves to play with her sisters Grapefruit, Cactus and Crackerjack. She would love to be adopted with one of her sister. Great little kitty.

If you would like more information about Ripken please go to our website at www.southerncountiesrescue.org for our online application and adoption dates.

About Southern Counties Rescue (Mission Viejo, CA)

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group (+ a few dogs). We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Netuer/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low cost S/N clinics.
