Lena's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Lena's Story...
Lena is a female, golden-colored Cairn Terrier who stumbled up to us at one of our spay and neuter events. She was starving, covered in ticks and fleas and has obviously just given birth. We're estimating Lena is between 1 1/2 - 2 years old, she is extraordinarily sweet and most likely was bought or stolen as a pup for breeding purposes. She currently weighs 13 pounds and received her first set of shots and a good, long bath. We are holding off for just a bit while we get some good nutrition into her before she is spayed, but otherwise she is generally healthy. Please call 818-407-4145 or email me at to meet this courageous, lovely little girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lena, a Los Angeles Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
