Meet this sweetie named Carmen! She came into the shelter as a stray on April 25,2017 and was not reclaimed so she's awaiting her adoption day! She is around 1 year and 3 months old, current on her shots, and ready for a loving home she can call her own. Carmen is a little shy and takes a bit of time to warm up. I am sure once in a calm and loving g home she will thrive and her sweetness will shine through so much more. I held her and loved on her and wow was her pur box purring away. She just needs to feel secure and loved. Maybe you are just the perfect person or Carmen. Stop by for a visit today and give her a chance at a fabulous life!
We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep Adopt a Pet as up-to-date as we would like. So PLEASE COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to 1 or more kitties today! Can't adopt today? We'd love some toys, litter, or food (especially kitten food) would be good too. Maybe you will have some time for snuggle and love on us while you're here. It makes the cats time here more enjoyable to get love & attention. We need volunteers & foster homes! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery (some vets honor the voucher 100%)...such a great deal while saving a life!! All of the cats are tested for FIV as well as Lukemia before being adopted out as well. The shelter hours are M-F 10-1, 2-5 and Sat. 10-4.
