Clyde's Story...
Hi, I'm Clyde. My sister Bonnie and I are what's known as a “bonded” pair. That means that we love one another and depend on one another to feel safe and happy. We lived with our owner until very recently when our owner died unexpectedly. That left us alone and scared. Then Helping PAWS stepped in and offered us a home until we can find a family of our very own. Bonnie is a little sassy (typical girl!), but I'm a very laid back guy who loved to be brushed and petted. Together we make the perfect pair and would love to find a perfect home where someone will love us for our own unique personalities. Could that be you? Please come to Helping PAWS and meet us. We may not be bank robbers, but we will steal your heart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clyde, a Washburn Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Washburn, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Washburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
