My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emily is a sweet young girl that is also shy. She currently lives with dogs and cats.
From the foster mom:
Guess who was caught taking a nap with her foster mom? Emily, that's who! It was an exciting moment as it has taken a long time for Emily to feel safe. She discovered that she loves pets and rub downs. Of course, who doesn't? She will even let me pick her up and put her on my lap for a few minutes. She has got the quietest and cutest meow, except when it comes to telling me she wants dinner. She hangs out on the stairs looking sad when I leave the house. When getting ready to head upstairs at night, she is at the top watching for me. These are sure signs that she would be a great addition to a family.

Due to her shyness, young children would not be ideal. Give her some time and she will excel in a calm household. Patience and a bit of wet food can do wonders. Currently living with another cat and a dog, and does not bother with them much. Also sure that she would not mind soaking up 100% of her human's attention. Emily has been waiting patiently for her FURever family. Could you be the one?

She is FIV positive but that is not a death sentence. It just means her immune system is weaker than normal so she needs to stay as healthy as possible. Shecan live a nice, long, full life. She can also live with dogs and people with no issues. FIV is only transmitted to other cats by sex (which is not possible since she is spayed) and deep bite wounds (which is not likely since she is love bug!). No special medication or food. She just needs someone to give her a chance.

Adoption fee of $95 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.
