Hissy Pissy's Story...
Hissy Pissy's Story...
She's been with us for over a year, and we call her Hissy Pissy. She's the least friendly cat we have at the shelter and has earned her namesake. She heads for her hiding spot when visitors come in and hisses at anyone who threatens to invade. She's not entirely anti-social, she's just ... hissy pissy. She roams the cat room with the other in-mates and co-exists with cats of all ages. She can be a bit impatient with the kittens at times. We've been working with her, and she is coming around for those who have put in the time. We suspect she is likely permanent resident due to her current disposition, but we do believe that she would make a great cat for someone willing to give her the time and space needed to adjust and develop trust.

About Our Shelter...
The Morgan County Humane Society is a non-profit organization exempt from Federal taxes under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We are permitted to accept tax-deductible gifts from donors.
The goal of the Morgan County Humane Society is to provide animal control and shelter services to all animals, both domestic and wild. We realize there is a need for these services for at least one-half of the citizens of the county, especially in the rural areas. We wish to start a low-cost spay/neuter program to control pet overpopulation and provide public education for animal care issues that will enhance the quality of life for both pet owners and the animals.
