Facts about Hobbes
Breed: Domestic Shorthair/Domestic Shorthair Mix
Color: Black (All)
I am already neutered.
Hi, I'm Hobbes and I'm a 3-month old black and white kitten. I am here with my brother, Calvin. We are now ready for a new adventure and would be so happy to let you be a part of it. We are looking for a comfy home with lots of places to explore and nice soft places to snuggle. Oh, and of course, an awesome human(s) to share our 9 lives with. Are you looking for a great, cute little kitten or two to make your house a home? Come and meet us, and we will be happy to make your life a little better. You can take one or both of us home with you!
We are an animal shelter that cares for approximately 1,000 animals per year. We work with Mahaska County and the City of Oskaloosa, IA to provide animal control services and we also work through the Mahaska Humane Society to educate and promote responsible pet ownership as well as low cost spay/neuter services for low income pet owners.
Come Meet Our Pets...
The public can visit our adoptable pets at the Stephen Memorial Animal Shelter any time during normal business hours. We are open to the public Tuesday-Friday 11am-5pm and Saturday 11am-4pm.
Our Adoption Process...
Potential adopters must complete a pre-adoption application in which questions regarding responsible pet ownership are asked. Once approved the adopter is allowed to adopt and must pay an adoption fee which varies based on the age and species of the animal being adopted. At the time of adoption the adopter must sign an adoption contract. All animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
Humane America Animal Foundation, dba Adopt-a-Pet.com, is a non-profit, tax-deductible 501(c)(3) adoption advertising charity. Our mission (and passion) is to help
get homeless pets out of the shelters and into loving homes. Let us know what you think! Suggestion & Comment Box
