Facts about Sadie 0521

  • Breed: Mixed Breed (Large) Mix
  • Color: Black
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 34415576
Sadie was returned to PAWS on June 28 because her owner could no longer care for her. She doesn't prefer small dogs or cats. She does love children, but she gets very excited around them. For this reason, we believe she will do better in a family with older children. Sadie is energetic, playful, and happy. She knows how to sit, down, shake, and lie down. Sadie has been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She loves to play with her rope or ball, and is looking for a family who can devote plenty of time to her! Could that be you?

About PAWS Humane

About Our Rescue Group...

PAWS Columbus, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to prevent overpopulation and suffering of companion animals, to teach kindness and responsibility toward them, and to promote the remarkable capacity of pets to enrich human lives through pet-assisted therapy programs. We work in partnership with the City of Columbus to enhance and supplement the services offered by Animal Care and Control, reduce the need for euthanasia of unwanted animals because of severe pet overpopulation and find a loving and compatible forever home for every adoptable animal. PAWS is supported by private contributions from the citizens of our community. We are People Helping Animals, Animals Helping People.

Our Adoption Process...

Adopters must be 21 years of age or older
and present a valid driver's license or picture ID

The adoption fee for our animals varies and is dependent on many factors including age, size, behavior, medical condition and demand.

Setting higher fees for some animals enables us the ability to put funds towards our elderly and "special needs" animals that would otherwise not make it.

Adoption fees include:

Age Appropriate Immunizations
Disease Appropriate Testing
Internal & External Parasite Prevention
Microchip & Registration
Training DVD
5 lb. Bag of Science Diet Food
1 Month of Pet Health Insurance.
