Doris's Story...
Adoption Donation $300

These adorable pups were dumped in the drop off pen at a high intake, high kill rural AL shelter. All but one went on an adventure and the mechanics shop next store brought them back over to the shelter this mooning. We were called to help as they are overflowing yet again with puppies and will soon have to euthanize for space. They are you typical adorable, happy puppies. Chase you around and love everything they meet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sylacauga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sylacauga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with Beagle/German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sylacauga paves the way for another one to be saved.
