Hello. My name is Josephina and next to me here is my mom, Clementine. We are looking for a patient, experienced cat person (or people) to be our forever family. That's because we're introverts. You know where some cats run out and greet new people? Well, we run and hide. That can be off-putting right from the get-go. When we do come out, what is the first thing everyone wants to do because we are fluffy and soft looking? They want to pick us up. Frankly neither of us likes being picked up! We're a little frightened of dogs and, while we like other cats, we really need for them to be welcoming to feel comfortable with them.

With time and patience, however, our great cat qualities come out of hiding. Our foster mom calls us "sweet, beautiful girls." We love being petted and brushed. And even we shy cats enjoy sitting in the window in the sun, watching the birds. We're also very playful, batting around our toys-our foster family has seen us in action! And of course we are clean and great at using the litter box.

We have been together since I was born, so we are strongly bonded. I know some calm, quiet, patient cat people are out there looking for calm, quiet cats like us to make their house a home.

If you'd like to take us home, please fill out an adoption application at this website-http://www.animalalliesrescue.org/adoption-application and choose us-Josephina and Clementine! Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all of routine vetting, rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations, FelV/FIV testing (kitties), deworming, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention, microchip, boarding and transportation costs if applicable, along with a free* trial offer for 30 days of 24PetWatch pet insurance!*

*Dependent on meeting eligibility requirements:  Dogs 8 weeks to 10 years of age and cats 8 weeks to 12 years of age. This offer is not currently available to residents of CA, PA or RI.
