Hi my name is Opal. My hobbies are chasing lizards, playing chase the shoelace toy, sleeping, and snuggling humans while they watch television. I am about 2 years old. I showed up at my caregiver’s house looking for food. I was underweight, hungry, and scared. Since then, I have been living inside her home and I LOVE it. She feeds me wet food…yumm!

I have been tested for FELV/FIV and I am negative. I’ve also been spayed and my shots are up to date. The place that spayed me snipped my ear so that if I ever get back outside and lost people will know that I have been spayed. I really don’t like going outside much unless I am chilling on the patio with a human. I don’t like being left outside alone. Been there and done that - it was no fun!

I’m looking for a home where I can be someone’s very best friend and grow old with them. I love people, however, for some reason I do not like other cats. I am super smart and I will show you what I want if for some reason you don’t understand my cat talk. My caregiver told me there is someone out there looking for a cat just like me. Is that you? Would you like to be my best friend?
