Facts about Mala

  • Breed: Calico
  • Color: Tortoiseshell
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 95364
  • Hair: Unknown
We have fostered many kits and seen a lot of different cat personalities. We found Mala at a shelter where she was the runt of the litter but very sweet. She has grown very healthy and loves to explore but can be a bit skittish. Her name Mala means mean girl in spanish, but she is quite the opposite. We named her that because of her expression. Lots of cats have different dispositions and most will default to a curious look on their face. But Mala always seemed to have this look of discontent. Even when she's purring, which she does often.
Once she warms up to you she's very affectionate and sweet. Loves belly rubs and will ask for them by plopping down in front of you belly to the sky. She loves attention and will ask for it. She gets along tremendously with our other cat Pepper, but loves her own space. Male needs a family who can give her the attention she needs and has a quiet space for her. If she's missing just look under the duvet or in a lump of laundry. If you're a quiet person who likes petting a lapcat then look no further. She's as sweet as they come.
