Yoda is almost a year old
 weighs 5.1 pounds
grew up with a few kids over 4 years old
has no problem with them but for his sake not looking to place him with any kids under 10 years old
in a experienced home where the child was trained to be kind to animals

grew up with a few female dogs besides his brother
we would prefer one smaller
mellowish medium energy female dog
under 15 pounds
that is friendly and easy going
or a nice non alpha small male dog

as he was never alone and he would enjoy that company

Yoda has unique marking
he looks like he has a mohawk in white
and is tallish and has a lean build

he loves to be on your lap
is fine around walkers

loves yummy treats he will love you much faster:)

has  been exposed to many visitors as he grew up
no yipping nor nipping
he grew up in an apartment that has a small
secure fenced yard
looking for a secure yard that has grass
and he can play in
someone must be home during the day

looking for small breed experienced folks
over the age of 28 years
that would love a snuggle buddy in bed with them
that gives tiny kisses
that's what he is used to being in your bed
in your lap
follow you around unless he's playing
a real companion dog

About Save A Dog Today (Matchmaker&Adoption Center)

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a 501 non profit rescue

We educate dog owners of the IMPORTANCE to spay/neuter their pet(s). Find foster homes where rescue dogs can stay safe until adopted out. Help place owner surrender dogs.

Pull dogs out of kill shelters, rehabilitate, provide them with love, care and medical treatments, then find the perfect match for dog and human.

We don't just find a good home, but the best possible match for dog and human. We have a 99% of NO return dogs. Because we consider the dog and human lifestyles, and carefully select the right home as we want dog/human to be together happily ever after. Adopting a dog is a big decision/responsibility and should be carefully thought of by each family member.

Come Meet Our Pets...

No Formal Shelter, all our dogs are in foster homes

Our Adoption Process...

How our adoption process works:
First Step: E-mail us for a online application or see our website at sadt.info

Second Step: Once we receive your application we will e-mail you back to let you know that we received it .
We will then review your application which can take about 2 days, once approved someone will contact you either by phone or e-mail.

Should you not get approved that does NOT mean you are not a suitable home, but that the dog you choose is not the best fit to your lifestyle or the dogs lifestyle.

We try to match dog and human as best as possible to not just have a happy ending but the dog will hopefully stay in that home "forever.
Third Step: To get approved your Vet references need to check out, meaning that you took prev. pets or current pets to the Vet for at least their Rabies shots, showing that you're a responsible pet owner.
Fourth Step: Once the Vet references check out we will set up a physical home check (or get pictures from you), someone will come to your home, check the fencing, place the dog will sleep, meet all family members, that is to assure us that the animal will be save and live happily ever after.
Fifth Step: Once the home check is approved, you can then come meet your "dream dog" and take him/her home with you, after signing adoption contract
paying the required adoption fee by either cash or check.
We always try to work as fast as possible as we know you are excited to get your new family member home. There will be times that we have family emergencies or are sick so the adoption process could be slowed a bit, we appreciate your patience!
