Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Peanut was found as a stray and after attempts at finding her owner didn’t work out, CRT was asked to take her in.
Peanut is around 2-3 yrs old and weighs 11 lbs. She looks to be a Chiweinie. She loves to snuggle, get under blankets and is a total lap dog. She also loves to be picked up and carried. She is a little scared of thunderstorms. Who needs a doorbell when you’ve got Peanut letting you know that someone is outside? She can be a bit of a drama queen by growling when she doesn’t want to be put down or if she doesn’t like where she’s being petted. When you first meet her, she is fiercely loyal and protective at first but will roll over and show her belly within minutes of meeting you. She likes to sleep in the bed with her foster mom, but we are working on staying in her crate overnight.
Her foster mom says that she is an escape artist and runs for the door when it opens. Peanut would do best in a home where she is the only dog. Her foster mom has two dogs that are larger than Peanut and she bullies both of them. She also likes to tear at tags on blankets as well as electrical cords. She should be crated whenever she’s home alone.
She will go outside to use the bathroom but will have occasional have accidents in the house. Her foster mom has been trying to teach her to “sit” and “come” and she seems to understand, but Peanut is very stubborn and can be hard to motivate. She does know the command “go potty” and she also understands “wanna eat?” He foster mom says that she does a little dance while waiting for her food.
She is spayed, UTD on shots, and on HW preventative.
