Lucy's Story...
Lucy's life was saved hours before her execution time because a good samaritan could not bare to see such a special dog be put down. Lucy was adopted but after almost a year, her guardian became too ill to care for her. Lucy's heart has been broken once again as she is now back in a cage without a person to love. She is extremely intelligent and very gentle with everyone she meets. She loves to ride in the car, go for walks or jogs or just lounge around with the people she cares about. She must have had some training at some time in the past because she seems to know sit and responds quickly to "down." She is very obedient and just wants to make her guardian happy. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Marina del Rey German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
