My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone! I’m Owen. I am just a baby at about 10 weeks old. I did not have the best start in life but I was rescued! Now I’m a happy, healthy boy looking for my forever family. Do you have what it takes to raise a beagle baby?

I have TONS of energy! I am pretty good at entertaining myself when the other beagles are worn out. I love to run and sniff around in the yard. There is another young beagle here in my foster home that likes to play as much as I do! We have a great time together. I follow her everywhere and copy everything she does which means I’m catching onto this house training thing really fast! I am a smart boy and have been learning lots of new things.

Did you notice in my pictures, I have no tail?! Just a little stump (with a white tip). Another thing about me, just like all puppies, I like to chew on everything. Feet, other dogs, furniture, the leash... I am learning that’s what all these puppy toys are for and I have begun crate training. My new home will need to be puppy proof and have lots of chew toys and supervision while I continue learning.

If you think you’re ready for all this fuzzy cuteness and energy (and puppy breath!), get in contact with Midwest BREW! My foster mom can answer any questions you have about me.
NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements; and for families with very small children, puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets and hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
