Stori is a total cuddle bug and loves to be pet on the top of her head. She comes running when called (responds to "baby girl", not "Stori") because she knows she'll get treats or some good snuggles. She loves to curl up against her human's leg in bed at night and cuddle in the morning. Because of her tough history, Stori takes a little warm up to new people, but once she trusts you she is very affectionate and will follow you into bed. While living on the streets in January, she was attacked by three dogs. During the attack, she lost several teeth and got pretty scratched up. She had to have the rest of her teeth removed once she was rescued and brought to the shelter, but now she's fully recovered and you wouldn't even know she's missing her teeth! She is able to eat dry food but loves her wet food. She does have early stage kidney disease so she eats k/d prescription food, but it's no more expensive than a quality cat food. While she eats k/d food for meals, the vet allows her to have normal treats, which she loves! She runs to the sound of her treat bags opening and will lick your hand while you're getting ready to give her treats! Stori would thrive in a calm, adult-only household where she can be the only furry friend. She may be ok with another very calm cat, but absolutely no dogs or children. She has had impeccable litter box skills since day one in foster care and uses her scratching boards very well! She is an adult, but her exact age is unknown. Stori is an absolute sweetheart and would love to meet you!
