Are you looking for a dog who is already housebroken? Over the puppy energy? Will snuggle with you? Is calm at home? Doesn't destroy your stuff? Look no further! Louisa May is a sweet, willing to please pup who loves to cuddle with her family. She's fully housebroken and does not need to be crated. She will sleep late in the morning with you if that's what you prefer, and loves to go for walks, play with toys, and sniff around the backyard. She is a very easy dog to care for at home. Louisa is very smart and knows sit, lie down, and shake. As a lab mix, she is easily trainable. She became attached at her foster home very quickly, and will be sure to do the same at her forever home with her forever family. She's looking for "her people" who will love her as much as she loves them.

She can be protective of "her people/home". After a few training sessions, she has shown great potential to respond to correction and will thrive in a home with a strong leader who can provide good structure/routine for her. She would love to meet you!

To be considered for adoption, please submit an application at www.hopeanimals.org/adoption-application. Thank you!

Our Adoption Process...

Please complete an Adoption Inquiry at: http://www.hopeanimals.org/#!adoption-application/c1trs

Adoption Fees help offset the care for all of the pets in our rescue and are as follows: Puppies and adults dogs - $250. Senior (7+ years) and special needs dogs - $100. Any medications required will be provided for one month after adoption.

Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter*, microchipping, up-to-date vaccinations, and current heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

*If pet is not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption, a $50.00 credit will be paid to your vet at the time of surgery.

We require a veterinary reference for current pet owners, and pets must be up to date on vaccines and heartworm preventative. We meet potential adopters in their homes and introduce the pets to the family's current pets to see if it is a good match. A copy of our adoption contract can be requested via email.
