Lancelot the Ideal Family Dog - This cream and white Lab mix is a charmer.  Lancelot likes nothing better than to lay his head on your lap. He also loves to ride in a car!  Lancelot was rescued from a high kill shelter and put into foster home so we know a lot about him. He is smart, very loving, great with kids of all ages and  house-trained, knows commands and is good on a leash.  He could be Lab/Boxer mix or maybe Lab/Mountain Cur?  No pit in this dog.

Lancelot is a stunning 50 pounds, about a year old and ready for a family or for anyone who wants an affectionate, attentive and easy-going companion. We highly recommend Lancelot. Contact CrisisDogsNC@gmail.com or 919-748-9546. We will transport.

About Brother Wolf Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is known for their excellence in matching people with the best dog or cat that would suit their lifestyle. Today we are proud to have the largest NO-KILL shelter in Asheville. Brother Wolf Animal Rescue was established in 2006. We started off as a very small group of people, taking dogs and cats from gassing shelters in GA. We found wonderful homes for these animals but realized while we were saving these particular animals, we had a much bigger problem in our community that we needed to face. Perfectly healthy, highly adoptable animals in our community are being euthanized every day. Rescued pets are not broken or damaged goods. They are wonderful animals who have ended up homeless through no fault of their own.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our facility is located at 31 Glendale Avenue in Asheville, off Swannanoa River Rd, 1/2 mile from Lowe's. Open every day.

Our Adoption Process...

All adoptions will require a contract and discussions with one of our adoption counselors. Based on the needs of the particular animal, we reserve the right to require a home visit at the discretion of the adoption counselor. All our animals will be altered before adoption and up-to-date on standard vaccinations. We do collect an adoption fee.
