  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Unknown
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 11785909

Nugget is an 8-year old Yorkie is full of cuteness. He's sweet, gentle and very friendly with other dogs.  He enjoys playing and romping around the yard.

Nugget recently went in for a full check-up.  He had a full chemistry, urinalysis, fecal, microchip, full dental and all his shots.

Guess what? He's in tip top shape! This little fella is ready for his forever home.  Nugget is only 6 pounds.

He's doing great with his housetraining but like most small dogs, he needs a break out every few hours during the day.

He's used to a fenced yard.   Nugget loves attention but he's not to clingy.  He's very quiet and easy going.

About Caring Hearts Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Caring Hearts Rescue is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization based in Fairfax Virginia. Our volunteers rescue toy breed dogs from desperate situations including neglect, puppy mill rescue, owner surrender and euthanasia by animal shelters due to overpopulation. All of our rescued dogs stay in safe foster homes while they await their "forever home." Our rescued babies are examined and given inoculations and spayed or neutered before placement. We search for families that understand the responsibility of being a Guardian to these little guys and consider them members of the family.

Come Meet Our Pets...

CHR facilitates all the meetings with your rescued dog. Potential adopters will make arrangements with a CHR representative to meet your foster dog. We then contact the foster parent to arrange a meeting at a convenient location for the foster parent.

Our Adoption Process...

The first step is filling out a application at the following address http://www.caringheartsrescue.org/Adopt.html . Click on the apply button under the dog you are interested in.

If you have pets, you will be required to provide medical records for your current pets as proof that they are up to date on vaccines, spayed or neutered and on heart worm preventative. We will contact you after this first step is completed. Thank you very much for your time!
