Buddy's Story...
DOB July 4, 2015.

Buddy is a friendly and well tempered cat. She likes to sit with you on the sofa or lie next to you on the bed and receive lots of attention. She will come if you call her name. She enjoys sitting on the window sill watching the world go by. Her favourite pastime is chasing balls!

She was shaved after her rescue from Quebec because her fur was in a bad condition and had mats, so she is currently sporting a lion cut. But it is growing back nicely, and is very soft. She's more than happy for you to brush her fur and keep it in tip-top condition! Buddy settled into her foster home quickly, and has definitely grown in confidence since. She would love to be welcomed into your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Toronto Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
