A170500 Introducing Penelope! This girl is a survivor! She arrived at the shelter in pretty poor shape. Emaciated, anemic, hairless and suffering from skin, eye and ear infections. She was pathetic and sweet and in need of saving. She found an amazing foster mom who helped her with her medical issues, and she has made an INCREDIBLE recovery! Penelope is about a year old, weighs 35 lbs (and has about 5more to gain) and is learning that people are to be trusted and not feared. Her foster mom says ` She is very sweet and has a funny personality. She can be frisky, but will calm down and nap and chill all day. She loves to be close to me and is always very affectionate. She is also very curious and seems to enjoy being adventurous. ` Penelope is now spayed and ready for her forever home!

If you are interested in learning more about this foster pet, please contact the Foster Coordinator and reference the Animal ID number a the beginning of this post.

Act quickly to adopt PENELOPE. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.
