The Rock's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

The Rock's Story...
Two months ago, a very pregnant cat was brought to our shelter. Calypso, as she was later named, gave birth to eight of the most precious kittens. After spending time in foster care, these baby cats are ready for their forever families!

True to their playful and spirited nature, each kitten is named after a wrestler. There are six boys and two girls, all with their own personalities. The kittens are nine weeks old. They've been spayed/neutered, received two sets of vaccinations and are microchipped. They're adoption fee is $80 each. We encourage you to make a visit and spend some time with these cuties!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

The Rock, a Germantown Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
