Dolly's Story...
Dolly is a 3(ish) year old Bichon. The shelter had her listed as a poodle, but after consulting with our vet, we strongly believe she is a Bichon.

Dolly is just as sweet as can be. When she was first found she was so matted, her eyes were not even visible. Our wonderful rescue partners in TX quickly got her cleaned up. She was so good the whole time, letting them do whatever they needed and she just sat there. She is calm and affectionate. Dolly would do so well in a home with someone who is home a lot and really wants a snuggle buddy, and walking buddy. She is so easy going she would be fine with anything. She gets along great with other dogs and all people it seems.

Dolly is a non-shedding dog, so it is very important that she be groomed on a regular basis to keep her looking pretty,

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly, a Boulder Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Boulder, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
