Sly was a stray who continued to visit a nice lady who would feed him and give him water. She became more and more worried about him because he was in an area that was heavy with coyotes and she feared for his safety. That is when she asked for help from rescue groups, and Heartland Humane Society stepped up.
What a handsome young man he is! He is so friendly and playful. He loves to roll over and have you rub his belly. He currently lives with 9 other foster kitties and a large (115 lb) dog. He gets along great with everyone, but he has lots of energy and wears out his playmates. He likes to hide under the bed and swipe a paw at them (and his foster mom) as they walk by! He plays hard and sleeps hard. He loves wet food. He's not really a lap cat yet, but that may be because he has so much competition.
Sly is neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, has been given flea preventative, microchipped and is current on vaccinations. If you have room in your home and your heart for this cutie, please contact Heartland Humane Society.
