Clyde (of Bonnie and Clyde) made me work a bit for his photos because he was happy in his shelf near the ceiling. But he definitely was happy - purring loudly and rolling around for attention. Because the shelter is really full right now, Clyde suddenly found himself with roommates other than his sister, Bonnie, and he always was a bit shy. So he would probably do best in a home with just Bonnie. He's a gentle, sweetie who loves to be petted. He'll just need a touch of patience. About Humane Animal Rescue - East

About Our Shelter...

Mission Statement: The Humane Animal Rescue mission is to provide temporary shelter, food, medical attention, and comfort to all abandoned, neglected and injured animals brought to us by the community; to restore lost animals to their owners or seek new homes for them, and to educate the public about the humane care of animals with a goal of reducing overpopulation.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Most of our adoptable animals are available daily at out shelter. We also occasionally have events off-site. Check out website for more information.

Our Adoption Process...

Requirement for adoption include:
1. Having all members of the household meet the animal
2. Dog meet-and-greets at the shelter if there is another canine in the home
3. Proof that dogs are allowed in the home including a lease and/or addendum if renting or proof of ownership if the home is owned (ownership can also be checked using the county assessment site if available).
