Jane's Story...
We would like you to meet Jane.

Jane is a very beautiful 3 month old Dachshund/ Pit bull mix. Before you ask, Jane was apart of an accidental litter between two dogs in the home, both mom (pit bull) and dad (doxie) were seen! We expect Jane to stay small and do not believe she will be more than 25 pounds full grown. Jane is good with other dogs, cats and kids. She is working on house breaking and crate training and will need her forever home to continue to teach her. Jane is a reserved girl with the sweetest demeanor that will make you fall in love as soon as you meet her. Jane would love an active home that will give her plenty of exercise and play time!

If you have room in your home and heart for Jane, please visit www.because4paws.org and fill out an application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jane, a Oxford Dachshund/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Oxford, or seeking a Dachshund/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Dachshund/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
