Scout is a 1 1/2 year old red Australian Cattle Dog. This super sweet boy found himself impounded at an animal shelter. So scared, he just stayed way back in the corner of his kennel. There was little chance that he would be adopted, so he came home with us.
Once home, he still was scared, but still such a sweet dog. were told that he was not the least bit aggressive at the shelter, no matter how scared he got. They were so right. Scout is very gentle and kind.
We would like a family that is experienced with Cattle Dogs and experienced with training. Scout will excel if given the opportunity to do so. We are currently working with him on leash training to get him to feel comfortable and at ease while away from his home.
He does wonderful with other dogs and is equally happy as an only dog.
Such a beautiful dog both on the inside and out. He would love to find a human to call his own that will love him as much as he will love his human! Just a darling boy.
