Romeo's Story...
ROMEO is a two-year-old black male cat. We suspect Romeo may have been abandoned, for new tenants to a house brought Romeo to us. They had recently moved in, and Romeo desperately tried to get back in the house. They would find him often sitting on the front stairs, meowing for attention. Romeo was very thin, and his beautiful fur was badly matted. Now that he is safe and cared for, Romeo lives up to his name! He loves visitors, and is very talkative, enjoying your company and your attention. He is very playful and easy going, and gets along well with other cats. If you’re looking for an affectionate and charming companion, come meet Romeo!

At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and a fecal test.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Warwick Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Warwick, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
