Bernese Mountain Dog/Basset Hound Mix Dog for adoption in Somers, Connecticut - Roscoe

Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Roscoe's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Roscoe's Story...
Roscoe was a stray that was sent to us from the finder. He is funny to watch run with his short legs. He is good with kids but we suggest no children under 10 years of age. He is good with most other dogs but we have encountered one dog that he did not get along with. He normally is a very good boy and is crate trained, leash trained and did good on house training. To adopt go to http://www.kcpetrescue.org/adoption-application.html to submit an application.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Somers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Somers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bernese Mountain Dog/Basset Hound breeders who help with Bernese Mountain Dog/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Somers paves the way for another one to be saved.
