My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Have you ever been caught by your husband dancing around the living room with your newly rescued foster dog, singing Muskrat Sally, loud and proud, only to be told by said husband that it’s actually Mustang Sally? On top of that you realize that it’s not a muskrat that Sally resembles, but a meerkat. Or maybe a mink. No? Just us? Well hey, at least you have that mental picture to make you smile. You're welcome. We aren't sure if it is Sally's amazingly awkward body or her hilarious facial expressions that make us truly believe she is channeling her inner "mean girl" or the way she carries herself like she is the queen of the world; all we know we know is that our 4 year old Chug (Pug/Chihuahua) keeps us laughing with her antics. Whether sleeping under the covers, helping her foster mom at work, hiking or running errands (dog friendly, of course), Sally is always up for an adventure and at 9lbs, our girl is perfectly portable and loves riding in her bag. In fact, there isn’t much Sally doesn't love as long as she’s with her people. Sure, being royalty comes with certain standards and while Sally does enjoy playing with other dogs (especially the big guys), when it comes to human affection, any canine siblings should be "queen bee savvy" with patience for a little bossiness. Since we rescued Sally from a high kill shelter and she hasn't spent much time with children during her time as an OMD pup, we think older kiddos with dog experience would be best. Sally is housebroken when kept on a schedule, crate trained, spayed, up to dates on vaccinations, microchipped and ready for lifelong dance parties.
