Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Coco!!! She is a beautiful 8 year old chocolate lab mix!!! She was owner surrendered by her family when they had to move from a house to an apartment. They took her to animal control and, as an owner surrender, she had no mandatory hold. She found herself in the EBI room about to be euthanized just because her family didn't find housing that would include her! We tagged her in the nick of time and stopped her euthanasia. This sweet 8 year old girl is wonderful in her crate and housebroken but was often left outside and is heartworm positive. She is on our slow kill method so treatment is very inexpensive and her bi-monthly treatment will go with her to her new forever home at no cost to her adopter!!! She is otherwise very healthy! Please make room in your home and in your heart for this girl!!! She has a two week foster so we will need another foster soon or a forever adopter. Please adopt her if you can but if not, please donate toward her care. Her adoption fee (adoption fee, transport fee, and health cert fee are included) is $275. She is Texas NOT in CT due to the lack of fosters in the area. If you would consider adopting this dog from Transport then please email us. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog!! We transport dogs to the New England area every two weeks.
