August and Ash's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

August and Ash's Story...
August (male) and Ash (female) are amazingly white and wonderful. They like to talk, toss and tumble, then come up and sleep against their foster parents. They are very attached and should go to the same home together. They are all white with amber green eyes. August is very loving and playful. He is our biggest boy, but very fit at 22 pounds. At 8 lbs, Ash is a mischievous, adventurous little princess. Her name originated from a light black mark on her forehead (Ash Wednesday) that disappeared when she was a few months old. Both are so soft and beautiful. They talk and purr all the time. They sleep together and chase each other all the time. Very interactive with people, their favorite toys are feathers and lasers. The new parents for these kitties will be so lucky.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

August and Ash, a Houston Abyssinian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Abyssinian for sale in Houston, or seeking a Abyssinian cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Abyssinian breeders who help with Abyssinian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
