Bear's Story...
My name is BEAR. I am a Medium long hair black kitty with a grey belly that has amber eyes. I was found on a country road looking for a ride to find my home when this wonderful lady picked me up and took me home and gave me a warm bed and wonderful food. I have been neutered and current on all vaccinations. I am also litter trained. I was born around 5-8-08. I am so friendly and playful. I get along with everyone. I don't hide when my foster mom friends come over. I also help baby-sit all the small baby kitties in the house too. Come for a visit to play with me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Houston Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
