Leon's Story...
Hi, my name is Leon. I am a long hair yellow and white male kitten. I have green eyes and I am so lovable. I just want to be held and loved all the time. I will also ride on your shoulders. I play a lot with my other sibling too and would really love to be adopted with my pal Bear, we are the best of friends and are very attached to one another. We all get along so well. I have been neutered and current on all vaccinations and litter trained too. I know the minute you pick me up you will not want to let me go. I just a love bug. Born on May 10, 2008.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leon, a Houston Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
