I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.
Hi, My name is ANGEL. I am a 7 year young female Chihuahua. They tell me I have special needs due to loose knee caps (luxating patella). I do not let it stop me from jumping and running, but it does get you out of needing to walk me. I thought I was in my forever home, but my elderly mom had to go to a home and she was not allowed to take me with her. I have a protective personality to my loved ones, making me a great pint sized watchdog. Quiet environments are most to my liking. Apartment living suits me just fine, as I am so pocket sized and can fit through a 31/2 inch opening. I am pee pad trained, as well as using the outdoors. Local adoptions only. Meet and greet with home check required.
Started four years go, my main focus is to help rescue dogs from the Maricopa County Animal East and West Shelters. I also try to help owners rehome their beloved dogs, to keep them from entering the shelters. "Rehome Canine Rescue" is a small, private, volunteer based organization. Monetary donations help to provide food and vet care, are needed and greatly appreciated. Blankets, treats, dog beds, and toys all help. Volunteering is a wonderful way to interact with walking, training, and socializing the dogs to adjust into a new home environment.
