Meow! My name is Pixie, and I'm a lovely and outgoing female tortie. I was found outside with my two sisters - Bella and Gia - by a very nice lady who recently had back surgery and could not take care of us. Our mommy was nowhere to be found, and we were defenseless and scared. What a blessing that we were placed in a loving foster home with big dogs and a foster mom and dad who made us feel welcome and loved. I'm now on a positive trajectory and the sky is the limit! When I'm not snoozing or chasing faux fur mice with my sisters,I really love purring and cuddling with my human. I'm slowly learning to be held, and I enjoy rubbing up against you for petting. I even roll over for tummy massages! I'm the one who gets tangled in your feet when you want to leave the room - I just want to stay with you at all times. I don't want you to miss me! I do love my sisters and watch over them like a big sister would. My heart is full of love and kisses, and I dream of one day finding my forever family. If I sound like a kitty that you would like to meet, please complete an online application and a kind volunteer will contact you. See you soon!
Animal Allies of Texas is a 501(c)(3) animal advocacy/rescue organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community. Our goal is to build a no-kill shelter on enough land to house not only "adoptable" animals, but "treatable" ones as well - those who need medical care or behavior modification to become adoptable. While working toward this goal, we will also engage in community service and humane education projects to help bring about "humanity championed by thought."
Come Meet Our Pets...
We hold adoption events at one or more locations every week end. Please check the calendar on our web site www.animalalliesoftexas.org for specific locations and times.
