About HomeComings Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization, a committed, organized group of experienced animal rescue volunteers united by our love of animals and our dedication to our mission, which is to work toward the no-kill solution by rescuing all breeds of puppies and dogs from euthanasia in Colorado and surrounding states. We are not a shelter; our dogs stay in loving foster homes until they go home to their forever families.

Come Meet Our Pets...

You can learn more about our dogs and the adoption process on our website at:
Our adoption events are every Saturday at the Wheat Ridge Pet Club, 4975 Kipling St, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033
(we sometimes have additional mid-week adoptions; please check the event schedule on our website) Our animals are adopted quickly; please visit our website before coming to an adoption event to make certain the animal you're interested in is still available.

Our Adoption Process...

At our adoption events you will first talk with an adoption counselor who pre-screens our potential adopters. We also suggest that if you have another dog, you bring them with you to see how your dog interacts with her/his new friend. After you have chosen your animal, you will go to the adoption table, where you will fill out an adoption application if you have not already done so, and pay your adoption fee. For puppies under 6 months of age, the adoption fee is $350.00. For dogs older than six months of age, the adoption fee is $250.00 and the adoption fee for dogs over 6 years of age the adoption fee is $150.00. For cats, the adoption fees are $125.00 for kittens 1 year and under. For cats older than 1 year the adoption fee is $75.00. The adoption fee covers the cost of transport, spay/neuter, vetting, shots that are current to the age of the animal and microchipping.
