Chief Dan George is a handsome 13-week old male kitten who arrived at the HSOV on July 26, 2017 after he was found in the Marietta Ohio area with his mother (Pocahontas) and his four siblings (Geronimo, Hiawatha, Minnehaha, and Tecumseh).

Chief Dan George has a shiny black short smooth coat with a tiny patch of white on his chest, a long tail, and a sweet kitten face with soft innocent eyes that beg for attention. This little boy loves his brothers (and little sister), and they spend their days enjoying silly kitten games and snuggling up for group naps in the large floor cage in our Jungle Room.

Chief Dan George was given vaccinations, wormer, and Revolution flea treatment on July 26, 2017. He weighed 3.6 lbs on that date and will be available for adoption as soon as he can be neutered Chief Dan George is also available for foster or rescue. Naturally we'd love to see him find a home with one of his siblings (or his mother Pocahontas).

Chief Dan George was neutered on September 20, 2017 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 7 lbs on that date.

UPDATE: Chief Dan George's sister (Minnehaha) was combo tested on September 8, 2017 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm (which is also great news for her four brothers and mother) <3
